News update for 2004.04.20

The read-only part of the guestbook is up and running. Next up is the most important part, the actual signing! It shouldn't be too hard. I'll probably even get it up later today.

Edit: The guestbook is now fully functional. I was having trouble suppressing HTML because of the weirdness of XML and how things were being parsed, but I finally got it and all is well. I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to work on next, as most of the XML-based stuff on the site is taken care of. Just because it'll be relatively easy, I might do some of the Lists of Stuff section. It would be another good section to do in XML, but I think for now I'll keep it in plain XHTML to avoid hassles. I wish I could learn more about XSL and XSLT, but seeing as how it's not standardized with all current browsers, I'm avoiding it for now.
