News update for 2004.04.13

Well, I lied. I got the news & update viewer up before the guestbook. I had an easy enough time getting the DOMXML functions supported in PHP but a hell of a time learning how to use them properly, even though I had some more complicated stuff with XML in ASP a mere four months ago. At any rate, now I can seriously start work on the guestbook. I also need to keep an eye on how I design graphic headers for the sections. I want more colors. We'll see what happens, I guess.

I also added a marker after each random quote to mention which quote number it is out of however many quotes are available. A little touch, more than anything else.
